The principal, Michael P. Schaefer, has accessed hundreds of millions of dollars for religious institutions just in the state of Minnesota having served for 11 years as the Executive Director of Catholic Finance Corporation (a non-profit arm of the Archdiocese of St. Paul and Minneapolis that he founded) on both a tax-exempt and taxable basis. He has also worked with religious institutions in California, Illinois, Nebraska, Washington, and Wisconsin. His projects have included hospitals, nursing homes, senior living facilities, worship spaces, gathering spaces, elementary and secondary schools and a youth camp. Mr. Schaefer served as an investment banker and a municipal finance advisor on projects totaling in excess of $3 billion.
